Future Yard is a music, arts and entertainment space, driving creative and social change in Birkenhead and the Liverpool City Region.
After the success of the branding of the 2019 music festival, I was tasked with developing the brand to reflect the next part of its journey. Bringing to life a transformative vision for the future.
The visual identity continued with a vibrant colour palette. It refined core graphic elements to connect it with the new space in Birkenhead and used a pop-punk brutalist aesthetic to align it with its cultural heritage.
My work stretched beyond web, digital and printed media and into the physical space, culminating in the design of an incredible mural and a new era for Future Yard. The venue opened in 2020 during the pandemic and has continued to thrive and transform the region ever since.
